27 July

To make up for the cancelled Meisel trip, I chose to spend some time at the western half of Zone III. The weather remains April-like, with partly cloudy to overcast conditions, weak to moderate winds and 20°C (11:05 AM). I just made it back home before pouring rain hit my village.

P. coridon finally made its first appearance, albeit with a single individual. L. megera continues its strong season and made its first appearance in this area. One blue was unidentifiable, though its upper wings resembled those of C. argiolus.

C. mercuriale appears to be reaching the end of its season, with only two males still being active in this area.
